The DeKalb County Department of Watershed Management is designing and implementing plans to replace the existing 24 inch concrete water transmission main with a new 36 inch ductile iron transmission main form Candler Road at Interstate Twenty to Memorial Drive at Beech Drive. This project will also include the replacement of 6 inch concrete service mains along the length of the project with new 8 inch ductile iron pipe. The majority of the work will be conducted in the right of way of the existing streets. The work shall be done in accordance with plans and specification prepared by HDR Engineering Incorporated.
